We saw 11 sales of Whistler real estate for the week ending March 20, 2011 our largest weekly volume of property sales in Whistler, BC in 2011.
We had two sales over the two million dollar mark for the week. The highest being 62-4617 Blackcomb Way in the Four Seasons Private Residences a 2 bed/3 bath 1751 sq foot condo sold for $2,450,000. The second sale right at the $2,000,000 mark was 3-4501 Blackcomb Way in SNowy Creek complex which is steps from the Whistler/Blackcomb Village Gondolas. The Snowy Creek Townhouse was a 4.5bed/4bath, 2115 sq foot unit. The original list price for this townhouse was $3,295,000, so the Buyer got quite the reduction.
Our next three sales for the week were all single family houses, starting with 8146 Muirfield Crescent in Nicklaus North. The house sold for $1,525,000 and offered 5.5 beds/ 3baths and was 2,971 sq feet. This was followed by 6416 Easy Street a 3.5 bed/3 bath, 2,700 sq foot house in Tapley's Farm that sold for $1,182,500. The last chalet sale for the week was 6713 Crabapple Drive in Whistler Cay Estates. This 4 bed/2 bath, 2,900sq feet house with 2 bed suite sold for $992,000.
The first sale of the week below the million mark was 2601 Callaghan Drive a 4 bed/4 bath, 2,550 sq feet duplex in Whistler Creekside, which sold for $925,000. This was follow by the sale of a Blueberry Hill Estates 4 bed/3.5 bath, 2075 sq feet townhouse for $939,000.
Tamarisk complex saw two sales on the week. 1400-FP3 Alta Lake Road a 2 bed/2 bath sold for $320,000 and 1400-GP3 Alta Lake Road also a 2bed/2bath sold for $315,000.
Our last two sales for the week were Phase 2 condos in Whistler Village units starting with 505-4090Whistler Way in the Westin Resort and Spa a 1bed/1bath unit for $$239,000.
