We saw 10 sales of Whistler property for the week ending September 18, 2011. This was the first week since July 17, 20011 that we have seen double digit sales. A sign that the acitve historical fall real estate market has started in Whistler.
Our highest sale for the week was 8553 Drifter Way a house in Alpine Meadows neighborhood in Whistler. This 3.5 bed/2.5 bath house also had a 2 bed suite. It sold for $1,120,000. This was our only sale above the $1,000,000 mark for the week.
Our next highest sale for the week was in Alpine Vista at 2997 Alpine Crescent. This 3 bed/2 bath home with a 2.5 bed suite sold for $876,000. We then saw two single family home sales right at $825,000 mark. 9368 Emerald Drive in Emerald Estates with 4 beds/2baths and 2 bed suite and 7462 Ambassador Crescent in White Gold with 3 bed/1.5 bath both sold for $825,000.
205-2222 Castle Drive a 3bed/2bath townhouse in Nordic Estates sold for $600,000. Next we saw three Nordic townhouse sales along the slopes of the famous Dave Murray Downhill on Whistler/Blackcomb. 3-2269 Nordic Drive a 2bed/2bath in the Ridge complex sold for $545,000. This was followed by 4-2548 Snowridge Crescent a 3 bed/2.5 bath in Snowridge for $545,000. The final sale for this area was 4-2101 Whistler Road a 1 bed/1 bath unit in Highpointe for $280,000.
The two remaining sales for the week were Phase 2 condos. Starting with 528-4899 Painted Cliff Road in the Blackcomb Springs a 1 bed/1 bath sold for $170,000 and 454-4090 Whistler Way a studo in the Westin Resort and Spa sold for $130,000.
