We saw 10 sales of Whistler property for the week ending October 23, 2011. Giving us double digit Whistler property sales for 5 of the last 6 weeks. Our highest sale for the week was 2212 Gondola Way a 4.5 bed/3.5 bath duplex in Whistler Creekside for $1,040,000.
Our next highest sale was 39D-4652 Blackcomb Way in the Woods complex sold for $865,000 for this 3bed/2bath. Originally listed for $1,100,000, this is a clear indication of some of the value Buyers are finding in today's Whistler property market. This was followed by another Blackcomb Benchlands townhouse sale in Mountain Star , 28-4894 Painted Cliff Road a 3.5 bed/3 bath for $820,000.
7127 Nancy Greene Drive our only vacant land sale of the week and 1 of only 12 to take place in Whistler for 2011. This 13,261 sq feet lot on the corner of Nancy Greene and Blackcomb Way sold for $720,000.
Our first Nordic townhouse sale of week 219-2222 Castle Drive this 3bed/2bath unit with a garage went for $598,000. It sold in just over 2 weeks, after being listed at $608,000.
It was then back up to the Blackcomb Benchlands, just off the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain, 18-4890 Painted Cliff Road this 2bed/2bath sold for $539,000. Another illustration of the value Buyers are finding. This property listed in March 2011 for $675,000.
A Whistler orginal 14-2400 Cavendish Way in the poplar Whiski Jack complex, this 3bed/2 bath sold for $484,000. We then saw a neighboring 2 bed/2bath i32-2544 Snowridge Crescent in Snowridge sell for $410,000. Our last sale townhouse sale for the week was in Nordic Court 2 bed/1 bath, 402-2101 Castle Drive sold for $379,000.
