We saw an increase in Whistler property sales activity for the week of March 9th to 15th, 2009 with 6 sales taking place. (see graph below) This tied the highest sales volume for 2009. We had 6 sales the week of January 19th to 25th, 2009. If you count the Legends quartershare sale that happened on March 8, 2009, it would be 7 sales.
I expect the increased sales trend to continue, judging from the number of phone calls I have been receiving for viewings of my current listings and Buyer inquiries. There is a buzz in my office amongst Realtors, that like the stock market, the real estate market in Whistler is picking up. We have already seen 4 sales this week, including 602 Le Chamois that sold for $3,250,000 on March 19, 2009. Click here to view current Whistler Property Listings.
