Whistler/Blackcomb announced yesterday that they would be opening early for the 2014/2015 ski season this Saturday-November 22nd. Tourism Whistler is reporting "Thanks to the cold temperatures the snow guns have been blasting all week, supplementing the natural snow and allowing Whistler Mountain to open ahead of schedule. "
Five ski lifts are scheduled to run - "Emerald Express, Big Red Express and Franz Chair, Creekside Gondola and the Whistler Village Gondola with new cabins.
