We saw 5 property sales of Whistler real estate for the week ending June 5, 2011. The highest sale for the week was 4736 Settebello Drive a Montebello townhouse adjacent Whistler Village. This 3bed/3 bath, 1511 sq feet townhouse sold for $1,005,000. This was interesting sale as it was orginally a quarter share Montebello made up of four quarters. One owner had of the quarters and ended up buying the fourth earlier this year for $275,000. He was then able to sell the unit as whole for $1,005,000. This certainly was a fruitful purchase as individual Montebello quarters had been selling for $200,000. It's not an easy thing to do acquire all four quarters in one Montebello unit, but as this sale proves it can bring more dollars in for the Seller.
Our next highest sale came from Blueberry, 3111 St. Moritz Crescent in Blueberry. This 4 bed/ 3.5 bath, 1973 sq feet townhhouse in Blueberry Hill Estates sold for $935,000. The following sale was 36-2641 Whistler Road in Powderwood in Nordic which sold for $800,000. This townhouse unit in Nordic offered 3 beds/2.5 bath with 1519 sq feet.
Our last 2 sales of the week were condos, starting with 306-4821 Spearhead Drive in Powderhorn a 2.5 bed/2 bath condo for $490,000 adjacent Blackcomb Mountain.
